Welcome to the Oak Hill PTA!!

 

We are all very pleased to welcome you to the Oak Hill PTA and our website. With your support, we can continue to make Oak Hill a distinguished and excellent school for our children. We urge you to learn more about our wonderful school and all it offers. The PTA offers many wonderful programs including community event nights (Movie Night, Skate Night, This is Us, etc), after school programs and clubs, and assemblies during the schoolday.

 

We invite you to become involved to continue supporting our school and PTA. Your contribution, whether it is your time, knowledge, or resources make a difference. Thank you for helping in any way you can, and showing your children the importance you place on their education. "A strong PTA represents parent involvement and parent involvement represents student success."

 

We encourage you to visit the website often for updates and calendar items. We also have wonderful communications throughout the year with plenty of upcoming events and information. Our weekly communications will be using PTBoard and the News You Choose from the school.

Cancellation Policy  ( From Little Scholars with regards to after school activities )

Full refunds (minus 4% fee) will be granted up to 7 days prior to the start of the class. Within 7 days of the class start date, only a 50% refund will be granted. No refunds will be granted on or after the program start date.

After School Club Cancellations 

Participants are eligible for a full refund, minus a 10% administration fee up to 24 hours prior to the start of the club. No refunds will be available after the club has begun.

PTA Event Registration Cancellations 

Up to 24 hours prior to the event, participants may cancel their registrations for a full refund, minus a 10% administrative fee. No refunds will be available after the event has begun.

Specialized Assistance For After School Activities

The PTA will fund up to one student aide per session term for a student requiring specialized assistance. The parent, counsellor or admin must contact the PTA’s Second VP to arrange details prior to the start of the session. The school will be in charge of finding the aide and all payments to the aide will be made through FCPS including FICA.
