Why Join Oak Hill Elementary PTA?

Many of you may be wondering why join PTA or pledge for our memberships. Here are the activities at school and family events that your membership dues pay for. Our generous membership pledges help 900+ students across all grades at the school:

PTA also offers many afterschool enrichment programs and activities, the fees for which usually covers the operating expenses of the programs in Why PTA?

More Ways to Help Support Oak Hill !!

There are several more ways you can help Oak Hill.  You can register your supermarket cards which will donate money to Oak Hill.  You can recycle ink cartridges or other items by dropping them in the Oak Hill Lobby recycle boxes. You can collect and turn in box tops and labels. And you can register with participating retailers like Amazon.com, Target, and BJs so when you shop there, a portion of your total gets donated to Oak Hill, AT NO COST TO YOU!

Why don't you have my membership, I joined? 

One of the typical reasons we have for issues is the username is different (spouse or other) or issues with PayPal. Also, the system can be deceptive in that you think you may have completed a transaction and there is one additional step in the PayPal system.

I joined and purchased an afterschool program in the same transaction and I didn't get the discount. Why?

The way the system works is that after you join your user account is tagged as having a membership.  The system then uses that tag to determine if your account should receive a discount.  It is important that you keep this a two step process.  First Join the PTA, then purchase an afterschool item and enjoy the benefits of membership with a discount.

I have a confirmed membership, where is my link?

If you do believe it is under another name, check your spam folder for the notification.  A lot of members have found it there. Also, please remember which e-mail address you used.  If you are unable to find it then please send a request to membership@oakhillpta.org and we will send a link.  We can only guarantee that links will be sent out every morning through the month of September.  However, we make every attempt to send it out as soon as possible.

I just received a reminder about an item in the shopping cart.  What is this?

Many people have been in the middle of a purchase or have been window shopping and have left their item in a shopping cart.  If this is the case and an afterschool or other event is nearing full, we will send a reminder and then ensure that that user has had a full two days since entering the shopping cart.    This is to provide items available for other users to purchase.  If you think you have made a purchase, please consistently check your spam as many e-mails are
